Job description

FocusedCare is a compliance-first SaaS platform built for Medicaid-funded care agencies — including IDD, LTC, home health, behavioral health, ABA, and hospice providers — helping them manage credentialing, exclusion screening, training compliance, e-signatures, and task management in one system. The Sales Associate will support our sales team in driving revenue through a balanced focus on new client acquisition and account management, working closely with sales leadership to bring FocusedCare's compliance platform to care agencies that need it.

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the healthcare/Medicaid-funded provider space
  • Assist in acquiring new clients among IDD, LTC, home health, behavioral health, and other regulated direct-care agencies
  • Help conduct market analysis to identify care agencies facing compliance, credentialing, or exclusion-screening pain points
  • Contribute to customer relationship management and retention activities with existing agency accounts
  • Assist in preparing sales forecasts and reports for leadership
  • Collaborate with product and customer success teams to relay client feedback and align sales efforts with company goals
  • Participate in occasional travel to client sites (initially concentrated in Texas) to strengthen engagement

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales roles, with direct experience selling into healthcare, health tech, or health-adjacent industries
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance, credentialing, or regulatory concepts (e.g., Medicaid/Medicare billing requirements, LEIE/OIG exclusion screening, HIPAA) a strong plus
  • Knowledge of sales strategy development and implementation
  • Proficient in CRM software such as Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to speak credibly to healthcare operators and compliance stakeholders
  • Experience in market analysis and sales forecasting
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Prior experience selling SaaS to healthcare or long-term care organizations
  • Existing network or relationships within Medicaid-funded care agencies
