Job Description: 

Roberson's Albany Ford has an immediate opening for an auto sales consultant. Come join our team and work with the most exciting inventory line-up the auto industry! In this role, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the car-buying process, from understanding their needs to finalizing the sale. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to close sales while providing exceptional customer service. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Working with customers to find a vehicle that fits their needs - which includes explaining features and benefits, test driving and working closely with sales manager and detail team to complete the sale
  • Taking vehicle inquiry phone calls
  • Working with finance manager to relay all important details of the sale in order to obtain financing if needed
  • Assist in open/close procedure as needed
  • Help to ensure all inventory is in working order, reporting any problems to management
  • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction
  • Other duties may be assigned by manager
  • Full time position, including weekends

Job Requirements: 

  • Must have the ability to communicate well with people, possess a good work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Prior experience in sales or customer service role
  • Ability to build customer rapport and establish trust
  • Must be highly motivated and target-driven
  • Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Sales experience preferred, but no required
