Assistant Director of Nursing

Job Summary:

Oasis at the Keys Nursing and Rehab is seeking an exceptional Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals in Tavernier, Florida. As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. We are a 120 Bed Skilled Nursing Facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, including licensed nurses, certified nursing assistants, and other support personnel

  • Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident care and identify areas for improvement

  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration

  • Provide education and training to staff on new policies, procedures, and protocols

  • Collaborate with the corporate office to identify best practices and implement them in our facility

Requirements:
