Unit Manager RN

Located in Tavernier, Florida, Oasis at the Keys Nursing and Rehab is committed to delivering exceptional long-term care to our residents. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Unit Manager and lead clinical operations within our skilled nursing facility.

Job Summary:
Oasis at the Keys is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to lead our clinical team and oversee daily care operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid clinical foundation, and a passion for delivering exceptional care to our residents. As a Unit Manager (RN), you will provide clinical supervision to licensed nurses and CNAs, ensuring compliance with clinical documentation standards and medication pass procedures. You will also monitor and ensure timely completion of CNA documentation, clinical alerts, and other quality indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical supervision to licensed nurses and CNAs under the guidance of the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing
• Oversee daily care operations, including admissions, discharges, diagnostics, and emergency room coordination
• Ensure compliance with clinical documentation standards, medication pass procedures, treatment cart readiness, and crash cart protocols
• Conduct routine rounds to assess resident hygiene, room cleanliness, and overall care environment
• Monitor and ensure timely completion of CNA documentation, clinical alerts, refrigerator logs, and other quality indicators
• Coordinate care delivery with the on-site APRN, attending physicians, and Medical Director
• Assist in staff scheduling, dining room coverage, and incident report follow-up
• Participate in staff onboarding and in-service education sessions

Qualifications:

• Active Florida RN license (Required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior nurse management or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience is a plus
