Job description

Overview
Provides physical therapy patient treatment within the established plan of care and treatment protocols and under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Qualifications
Age of Patients Served:All Age Groups.Required Education:Associate's Degree; Graduate from an accredited school for Physical Therapist Assistant approved by the Council of Medical Education in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association.Necessary Skills:1. Demonstrates knowledge and skill in a broad range of Physical Therapy treatment interventions2. Demonstrate strong communication skills. Proactive, positive approach to problem solving3. Demonstrates strong ability to use computer, Microsoft Office suite.4. Able to work independentlyRequired Licensure/Certifications:Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Florida.BLS from the American Heart AssociationRequired Experience:less than one year clinical experience in area of job opening (Acute, outpatient, etc.)Preferred Experience:Experience in hospital-based rehabilitation services.
