Job description

Description

Icahn School of Medicine’s affiliation with Queens Hospital Center seeks a full time or part time board certified/eligible noninvasive Cardiologist to join the Cardiology Team.

NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens is the first municipal hospital in the borough of Queens. The hospital offers high-quality care for Cancer, Diabetes Management, Women’s Health and Behavioral Health.

All faculty have an academic appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Responsibilities
  • On a rotational basis, include interpretation of transthoracic echocardiograms.
  • Performance of TEE’s and stress tests, inpatient/outpatient cardiology consults, CCU rotation, interpretation of holter monitors, event recorders and EKG’s.
  • Other duties include supervision/teaching of Medical Students/Residents/Physician Assistants.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will be board certified/board eligible in Cardiovascular disease and board certified in echo. Board certification in performance/interpretation of cardiac CT is a plus.

Compensation range from 340K to 350K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
