Indiana University Health Medical Group South Region, part of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Indiana, is seeking a full-time, Advanced Practice Provider to join our collaborative Adult Neurology team of supportive Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in the beautiful collegial town of Bloomington, Indiana .
Position Highlights:
This experienced provider will care for patients suffering from Dementia, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Migraines and Parkinson's Disease in the hospital setting; ranging from ER consults to ICU level of care. This 100% inpatient position is full-time, night shift working 1 week on and 2 weeks off.
Responsibilitiesinclude performing hospital consults for patients with a wide variety of neurological issues, in collaboration with a Physician. Provider will provide nighttime rounding coverage and support stroke alerts. Additionality, APP will provide support for outside ED's/critical access hospitals within the IU Health South Region.
Qualifications:
  • Educational background consistent with requirements for NP/PA licensure and certification in the state of Indiana, required
  • Neurology and ICU/CCU experience required

Healthcare System/Hospital Description
The new IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center, part of the Indiana University Health Medical Group, opened in December 2021. The facility offers a personalized approach to inpatient services (including intensive care, complex surgeries and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services), outpatient services with leading-edge diagnostic testing, flexible space in the emergency department for post-care observation, a dedicated trauma center and a cancer infusion center.
