Assistant Hazmat Delivery Contractor Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Position Description & Qualifications Hazmat Lead Cheatham Annex Are you a hazardous materials expert with a strong understanding of lifecycle management, regulatory compliance, and safety standards? Do you bring leadership experience managing hazmat programs in a complex logistics environment? If so, this role provides a critical opportunity to support Serco North America's Government warehouse operations.

In this role, you will manage all aspects of hazardous material oversight, including receipt, storage, inventory management, shipping, and disposal. You will ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DoD, and Navy regulations, supervise hazmat personnel, perform waste determinations, and maintain accurate records. Your efforts will ensure safe handling and regulatory compliance across all NMRLC operations.

In This Role You Will: * Manage hazmat inventory, storage, and segregation. * Perform hazwaste determinations and documentation. * Ensure compliant hazmat shipping and disposal.

* Supervise hazmat personnel and records management. To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have: * Minimum five (5) years of hazmat management experience related to the job description listed above. * Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DoD hazmat regulations.

* OSHA HAZWOPER certification (29 CFR 1910.120). * U.S. Citizenship and ability to meet Government suitability requirements.

* A current and active NACI and PIV Credentials which will require US Citizenship, and Active and Current Secret Security Clearance is preferred. * Active Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain within 30 days. * High School Diploma or equivalent.

* Valid driver's license and ability to operate approved delivery vehicles. * Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation. * Successful background checks include fingerprint checks and drug screenings.

* Have the ability to work on-site daily Monday through Friday while meeting our customers' requirements at the Cheatham Annex, located near Williamsburg, Virginia Preferred Qualifications: * Experience supporting Government hazmat programs. * Experience using DMLSS for hazmat tracking. * Valid forklift license (4K-6K and stand-up forklifts) or ability to obtain.
