What is an assistant guide?

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an assistant guide?

To thrive as an Assistant Guide, you generally need knowledge of the local environment, basic first aid certification, and experience in outdoor activities relevant to the tours offered. Familiarity with GPS devices, radio communication tools, and booking or scheduling software is often required. Strong interpersonal skills, clear communication, and problem-solving abilities help in managing groups and ensuring guest safety and satisfaction.
