We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Job Summary
The Golf Shop Associate at Silverado Resort delivers a premier golf experience by providing warm, personalized, and efficient service to members and resort guests. This role supports daily golf operations, merchandise sales, and tee sheet management while upholding Silverado's Four Keys of Service: Warmth, Personalization, Awareness, and Proactivity.
Compensation: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage members and guests by name
  • Basic computer skills; experience with POS systems and tee sheet software preferred
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused with a strong work ethic
  • Knowledge of the game of golf and golf shop operations preferred

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest & Member Experience
  • Deliver a warm welcome to all members and guests, utilizing names and personal recognition whenever possible
  • Provide efficient and accurate check-in while anticipating guest needs and setting expectations for their round
  • Communicate effectively with Outside Services, Starters, and Player Assistants to ensure a seamless golf experience

Reservations & Tee Sheet Management
  • Process tee time reservations in accordance with Silverado policies (member, resort guest, Troon programs, and invited guests)
  • Assist with daily tee sheet management, ensuring accuracy and maximizing utilization

Retail & Merchandising
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing golf shop environment
  • Assist with merchandising, inventory displays, and restocking of product as directed
  • Promote and sell merchandise in alignment with our retail standards

Point of Sale & Financial Accuracy
  • Accurately process all transactions, including green fees, cart fees, and retail sales through the POS system
  • Ensure charges align with member profiles (e.g., cart plans, guest passes, privileges)
  • Issue receipts and maintain accountability for all financial transactions
  • Assist with daily cash handling procedures, including reconciliation and closing reports

Operations Support
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing merchandise and golf operations supplies
  • Take and relay messages for members, guests, and staff as needed
  • Support tournament operations and member events as directed

Standards & Accountability
  • Uphold Silverado Resort standards and the Four Keys of Service in all interactions
  • Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail in all aspects of the role
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Golf Professional Staff or Management
