Job description

Wintonbury Hills Golf Course, located in Bloomfield, CT, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Server/Beverage Cart Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
This position involves working all 3 positions. Bartender/Server/Beverage Cart Attendant
Weekday and Weekend shifts required.
Position Summary:
This position requires availability from early April to early November and includes weekdays and weekends. Staff members are required to work in the pub and as beverage cart attendants. Applicants must satisfy these requirements: responsible for delivering attentive, professional table service while creating a welcoming dining experience for guests. This role requires strong communication, menu knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently during high-volume service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
  • Present menus, answer questions, and make food and beverage recommendations.
  • Accurately take and enter orders into the POS system.
  • Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor tables to anticipate guest needs and ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations.
  • Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions accurately.
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Assist with opening and closing side work.

Qualifications:
  • Prior restaurant service experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
