ASSISTANT GIRLS BASKETBALL COACH

Position Available: Assistant Girls Basketball Coach
Location: Foley High School
Job Description: Foley Public Schools has an opening for an Assistant Girls Basketball Coach starting in the Winter of 2026. This position would start on November 16th, 2026 and end in late March. This coach will work in conjunction with the other coaches on running aspects of the High School Girls Basketball Program while working under the guidelines of the Head Girls Basketball Coach and the vision of Foley Public Schools.
Requirements:
  • Previous coaching experience preferred
  • High level of knowledge of fundamentals, technique, and game management
  • Ability to connect, motivate, support and direct student-athletes in an educationally-based atmosphere
  • Ability to form positive relationships with parents, athletes, officials, community, and administration

Compensation: $5,696 stipend
Positions Available: Two (2) - C-squad and Junior Varsity
