Barista — Full-Time & Part-Time

Sweet Brew Cafe is hiring! We are looking for friendly, dependable, and motivated team members to join our brand-new cafe in a prominent location next to Duke’s Canton.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of Sweet Brew from the beginning as we create a welcoming destination for the local community, travelers, families, and guests. Our cafe will offer specialty coffee, espresso drinks, gelato, desserts, wine, and more.

As a Barista / Cafe Team Member, you will help create a great experience for every guest while learning and working across different areas of the cafe. Full-time and part-time positions are available.


What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in working as a barista — previous barista experience is required
  • Confident preparing espresso-based drinks and working with a commercial espresso machine
  • Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers
  • Reliable and responsible
  • Detail-oriented and committed to keeping the cafe clean
  • Available for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
    What You'll Do
  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages
  • Provide friendly, attentive customer service
  • Serve ice cream and gelato and prepare desserts such as affogatos and ice cream sandwiches
  • Assist with baking simple pastries and cookies — training will be provided
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming cafe
  • Operate the POS system and accurately handle customer transactions
  • Restock supplies and help with daily opening and closing tasks
  • Follow food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards


Previous barista experience is required. Food-service or hospitality experience is a plus. We are looking for someone who is confident preparing espresso-based drinks and ready to be part of building something new.
