Veterinary Technician
The Animal Hospital of Smithson Valley is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Technician to join our team in Spring Branch, TX, just outside of San Antonio! We're growing our team and would love to hear from you!
At Smithson Valley, we are dedicated to providing top-notch care for our furry, and not so furry friends. Our state-of-the-art facility offers innovative diagnostics and equipment including ultrasound, laparoscope, endoscope, digital radiographs and more, allowing opportunities to enhance your medical knowledge and further develop your skills as a veterinary professional. In addition to general treatments and procedures, we offer acupuncture and laser therapy, providing a full range of high-quality care for the pets in our community.
Our veterinary team is committed to ensuring every pet receives compassionate care, and we pride ourselves on our welcoming environment where both pets and people feel valued and appreciated!
What You'll Do:
  • Assist veterinarians and technicians in providing medical treatments, diagnostics, and procedures
  • Safely handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures
  • Maintain accurate medical records and assist with client communication
  • Provide compassionate care and support to clients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment and patient areas
  • Continually advance your knowledge base and skill set

  • At least one year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
