Title: Front End Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Interview Requirement: Must interview on-site, no exceptions.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate in an environment to rapidly iterate and prototype digital products.
  • Lead technical solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial explorations through final design deliverables.
  • Develop with bandwidth optimization in mind.
  • Plan and provide estimates of development time for tasks.
  • Apply up-to-date web development methods and use a solid understanding of good design principles.
  • Write clean, well-organized and fully documented code.
  • Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
Qualifications
  • Airline experience.
  • SQL experience – 4 years.
  • Ability to understand and develop SQL queries desired but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent training required.
  • 8-10 years experience required.

Description: American Airlines Tech Ops department is in the process of creating a centralized location for data to improve data analytics, trending, dashboards, and reporting. We are seeking an experienced consultant with a strong background in Front End Development who has the ability to create functional web‑based solutions and assist Tech Ops in developing the tools necessary to create standard and custom reports utilizing reference data.
