Operations Admin Assistant
Job Description:
Our site in Chaskaisseeking an Operations Admin Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the production supervisors, manufacturing managers, site director, and other operations leaders. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, multitasking, technical proficiency, communication, and professionalism.
What You'll Do:
  • Primary duties are to support plant supervisors, assisting with administrative duties, supporting the onboarding of new hires, and ensuring smooth operations across operations departments
  • Ordering miscellaneous supplies for supervisors, managers, and EHS team
  • Cascading communications from managers, EHS, HR, etc. to employees via email, communications boards, Enplug system, flyer creation
  • Scheduling meetings, trainings, events, and coordinating the ordering of food for these gatherings
  • Performing basic clerical duties, file maintenance, copying and editing documents, spreadsheet creation, coordinating business/travel arrangements
  • Occasionally assist supervisor and managers with employee related documents
  • Assist with closing work orders when needed
  • Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned

What We Seek:
  • 2+ years previous experience in an administrative capacity
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, as appropriate for the needs of the audience
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diverse group of individuals
  • Ability to work on projects with general direction and minimal guidance, both on a team and individually
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Can perform repetitive hand movements due to frequent keyboard use
  • Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)-such as safety glasses, hearing protection and/or steel-toe footwear as needed when working on production floor
