Job description

The Flight Training Automation Strategy Co-op will support initiatives focused on improving and modernizing systems that enable pilot and instructor training operations.

This role sits at the intersection of technology, product ownership, and operational workflows, helping drive requirements, support testing efforts, and ensure system solutions align with real-world operational needs.

The Co-op will gain hands-on experience working with complex enterprise systems, cross-functional stakeholders, and product delivery processes in a highly operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

        Partner with business stakeholders (training planners, instructors, operations teams) to understand current processes, system usage, and pain points

        Document and analyze end-to-end workflows, identifying inefficiencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities

        Support product ownership activities, including:

o   Writing and refining user stories

o   Defining requirements and acceptance criteria

o   Maintaining and prioritizing backlog items

        Collaborate with IT and development teams to:

o   Clarify requirements

o   Align on system capabilities and constraints

o   Support delivery of enhancements

        Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT):

o   Validate system functionality

o   Identify defects or gaps

o   Ensure solutions meet business requirements

        Help bridge communication between:

o   Technical teams (IT / developers)
