JOB TITLE: Firearms Revolver Assembler Lead


JOB SUMMARY
The Assembly Lead is responsible for overseeing all operations within their area (assembly) and ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and production efficiencies to meet the standards and expectations of internal and external customers. Leads are also morale builders and are responsible for creating a positive work environment for all employees.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing
  • 1+ years of gunsmithing or equivalent knowledge with revolvers
  • At least 1 year of experience following procedures and instructions per ISO requirements
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Forklift certified

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Ability to do very detailed work 
  • Effective communication skills 
  • Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment 
  • Must be able to work in a team environment 

CORE DUTIES

  • Must develop, manage, and evaluate assembly production employees 
  • Train and cross-train all team members on necessary processes, procedures, and tasks within their area 
  • Monitor production and throughput 
  • Monitor employee attendance and discipline  
  • Assist whenever needed in any area of assembly from start to finish 
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve assembly and production issues as they arise
  • Communicate production concerns, quality issues, and material or equipment needs to management
  • Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Management, and other departments to resolve production issues and improve processes
  • Test fire firearms
  • Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process 
  • Enforces company policies, safety rules, and regulations  
  • Coach and assist all employees with problem solving and conflict resolution 

HOURS 

  • 1st shift position
  • Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday - overtime as needed

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
