This position focuses on the development and sales of new and existing customers, primarily selling test and inspection agreements. General Description:

Primary duty is to be regularly engaged, daily, in developing new customers and meeting with new and existing customers at their businesses to produce recurring sales of fire protection services.


Essential Functions- including but not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers through Customer Relationship Management, which involves regular face-to-face meetings with clients at their business locations.
  • Identify potential clients and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other sales strategies.
  • Conduct on-site assessments to determine client needs and recommend appropriate fire protection equipment and services.
  • Create proposals for service agreements, tests and inspections, preventative maintenance, central station monitoring as well as other fire protection services as needed.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients.
  • Process sales and obtain orders or contracts for services.
  • Follow-up on leads, proposals, quotes and contract renewal.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
  • Answer customer inquiries.
  • Enter work orders as needed and ensure proper time and material is listed.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals.
  • Assist in all sales functions as needed.
  • Perform periodic field inspections to assure quality of work.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in fire protection technology and attend industry and networking meetings.
