Assistant Fedex Class B Driver Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Insurance Requirements: To be eligible for this role, candidates must be at least 23 years of age and have at least one (1) full year of driving experience operating a Class B vehicle for insurance purposes.

Bonus Eligibility: Must be hired between March 16th-July 31st as a Full-Time Class B Driver and meet other eligibility criteria.

Compensation Details:

• Starting at $27.00/hour.
• Potential 90-day performance-based raise.
• Annual review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure.

Schedule: Typical dispatch times are between 12 AM and 4 AM

The Role: You will be primarily responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers throughout the Portland Metro area.

Essential Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):

• Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries
• Load and unload product from trailer with electric pallet jack
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Perform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each delivery
• Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers
• Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with colleagues
• Professionally maintained, reliable and safe equipment
• Palletized product is delivered to a dock or with a lift gate
• All other duties as requested or assigned

Required Skills & Experience:

• Be 23 yrs. or older due to insurance requirements.
• 1+ year of driving experience highly preferred.
• Valid Class B CDL and medical card Interstate qualification, registered.
• Demonstrated ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. throughout shift.
• Per DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand English Satisfactory driving record.
