Job description

About the role
  • Conference and Event Services is looking for a student to help with operational tasks and logistics to support the team and events on campus. Tasks include but are not limited to making signs, nametags, and lunch tickets; posting signs; preparing supplies for events; using Excel/Google Sheet; organizing/sorting; and various tasks assigned.

Qualifications
  • Must be a current student.

  • Welcoming and good communication skills
  • Shows initiative and self-starter

Travel: This position does not require travel.
Work Environment:
This position works in an office suite with the CES staff.
Physical Demands:
This job will require some computer time and physical tasks. Applicants should be able to lift 20 pounds or be comfortable working in a sitting position for an hour or two.
Expected Hours of Work:
4-5 hours per week, during the work day, typically 2 hours a day, twice a week. We are flexible to work with you to find time around your class schedule.
