Environmental Scientist

Our company is seeking an Environmental Scientist to fill a Direct Hire opening in Lockland, OH!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the environmental and safety operations
  • Assist with the compliance, reporting & record keeping
  • Research environmental sustainability issues or concerns
  • Enforcement of Sustainability & Environmental Policy, Procedures, Plans, Programs
  • Monitor, report, and evaluate effectiveness of sustainability program implementations.
  • Internal and external compliance audits
  • Conduct Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions resulting from non-conformances
  • Update Vendor Audits

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with sustainability is required
  • Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry is required
  • Knowledge of environmental science and greenhouse gas offset (CO2e) measurement methods and theories.
  • Previous experience with EPA, OSHA, and DOT
  • Hazard recognition
  • Computer skills
