Reports to:
Environmental Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate transportation of waste containers and shipments of waste.
Attend project kickoff meetings to communicate waste management requirements.
Complete waste manifests and manage shipping records.
Inspect waste storage areas and chemical warehouses.
Audit production unit waste storage logs.
Assist with waste characterization sampling including coordination with operations and laboratories.
Assist with any spill cleanup activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 4 years' experience of manufacturing or related military experience.  
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Preferred:
Forklift operator qualified or able to receive qualification.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Regularly required to push, pull, bend and perform long periods of standing and walking on cement foundations.
Occasionally required to stoop and kneel.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to coordinate the movement of eyes, hands, feet, and fingers to operate tools and equipment.
Required to be medically certified for respirator and medically fit for duty.
Use of PPE required in specific areas.
