The Assistant Environmental Health & Safety Manager is responsible for the integration of environmental health & safety services into the business practices and compliance with regulatory requirements on their assigned Project. The Assistant EHS manager shall be project based. The Assistant EHS manager oversees responsibilities of their assigned Project as related to environmental health & safety services and has direct interaction with EH&S Staff, Superintendents, Project Manager, Project Executive and Area / Regional EHS Director.

Assistant EHS Manager Required Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in construction management, safety management, engineering, or equivalent or relevant safety experience
      • Strong written communication skills
      • Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
      • 3+ years of experience in a role assigned to the identification of safety hazards and recommending appropriate controls
      • 3+ years of experience in a safety role that required communication with employees at all levels in a construction environment
