Dunamis Energy is seeking a full-time Operations Engineering Tech for its downtown Denver location.

This job is located in Denver with in-office and hybrid schedules available. Occasional travel to the field office and worksites near Windsor, CO is required.


Role Description

This Operations Engineering Technician will play a key role in supporting the Dunamis Operations Engineering team in daily data management and technical project support. This position will bridge a critical gap by taking ownership of day-to-day technical and data-driven project support. You will use your expertise in data science and oil and gas technical support to provide daily engineering support. This role will also serve as the administrator of the Petrosight platform, managing data input and output to ensure accuracy and transparency. This role coordinates operational workflows, manages critical operational data, supports technical and engineering initiatives, and facilitates communication across multiple business functions. The position is responsible for ensuring operational information is accurate, accessible, and actionable while driving process efficiency, accountability, and cross-functional alignment. Additionally, this role will focus on improving data quality, identifying exceptions for cleanup, and ensuring accuracy across the production engineering dataset. This role also provides engineering, environmental and production reporting support as needed, contributing to informed, data-driven decision making across the organization.


Responsibilities:

Operational Coordination & Executive Support

· Serve as a Chief of Staff and operational coordinator to the SVP of Operations, helping prioritize initiatives, improve communication, and drive organizational effectiveness.

· Coordinate workflows and information sharing among Operations, Planning, Engineering, Land, Regulatory, Environmental, Accounting, and other stakeholders.

· Identify, troubleshoot, and improve operational processes, workflows, data flows, and communications across the organization.

· Track and coordinate operational priorities, action items, project deliverables, and strategic initiatives to ensure timely execution and accountability.

Data Management & Reporting

· Own operational data management processes and maintain visibility of key operational information across departments.

· Maintain data integrity by identifying, researching, and resolving discrepancies across operational systems and reports.

· Develop, maintain, and distribute operational reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.

· Maintain accurate well status information, well lifecycle records, and well history documentation.

· Continuously improve data quality, accessibility, transparency, and reporting capabilities.

Engineering, Production & Operations Support

· Provide technical support for operations, production, facility, and workover activities.

· Manage workover data updates, system configuration changes, and maintenance of the workover AFE database.

· Coordinate with vendors and operations personnel to maintain the well failure database.

· Assist with equipment and material transfer tracking and documentation.

· Update wellbore schematics, well lifecycle information, and Petrosight records as required.

· Support SCADA and production system integration activities associated with asset acquisitions, divestitures, and transitions.

Production Reporting, Environmental & Accounting Support

· Provide backup support for production reporting, production accounting coordination, reconciliation activities, and related data validation processes.

· Support cost tracking, coding accuracy, and resolution of operational accounting discrepancies.

· Provide environmental support through asset tracking, equipment movement coordination, work order administration, compliance documentation management, and process oversight to ensure accurate reporting and regulatory compliance.

· Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.


Qualifications:

· 3+ years of oil and gas operations, engineering technician, production operations, or related support experience

· Technical, engineering, analytics, or operations coursework/training preferred


Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Core Operational Knowledge

· Strong understanding of upstream oil and gas operations, including drilling, completions, production, facilities, and workover operations

· Understanding of the interaction between Operations and organizational functions such as Planning, Reservoir, Land, Regulatory, Environmental, Accounting, and Marketing teams

· Knowledge of production reporting, well lifecycle management, and operational data systems

Technical & Analytical Skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail

· Experience managing complex operational datasets and identifying data quality issues

· Proficiency with operational and business intelligence systems such as Power BI, Spotfire, PetroSite, TOCO, SCADA platforms, and Microsoft Office applications

· Ability to develop reports, dashboards, workflows, and operational performance metrics

Communication & Organizational Effectiveness

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization

· Ability to coordinate activities across multiple departments and maintain alignment among stakeholders

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

· Demonstrated ability to independently identify needs, take initiative, and drive work to completion with limited supervision

· Ability to appropriately influence, challenge, and hold internal and external stakeholders accountable

· Professional, collaborative, and service-oriented approach to supporting operational teams and leadership


Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $130,000. Actual individual salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure

and certifications; and other organizational needs. In addition, our Benefits & Compensation package includes medical and dental coverage, 401(k) match, and generous paid time off.
