Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off    

Job Description:

  • Assist with New Technologies Research: Conduct research on emerging technologies and provide detailed reports and insights to support the Chief Engineer (CE) for IRAD and New Technologies in strategic decision-making.
  • IRAD Project Schedule Updates and Metrics Reporting: Update project schedules and compile metrics for IRAD (Independent Research and Development) projects to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of progress.
  • What's Next for Waco (WNFW) Project Support:  Assist the CE in identifying and implementing WNFW action items, contributing to the successful execution of these initiatives.
  • Meeting Support for IRAD and New Technologies Projects: Provide logistical and administrative support for meetings related to IRAD and New Technologies projects, including preparing materials, taking minutes, and following up on action items.

Qualifications:

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering or related field or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
