Responsibilities

  • Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing to remove plaque and tartar buildupn and perio charting
  • Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
  • Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
  • Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols
