Position

  • DuBois Chemicals Canada is offering an 8-12 month co-op position.

  • The position will be based in our Vancouver office with some opportunity for local travel.

  • The candidate will be part of a technical Project Management team, working alongside Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and the Manager of the Project Management Office.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Component selection and sourcing

  • Preparation of quotations

  • Preparation of 3D models of piping assemblies in AutoCAD

  • Preparation of BOMs of piping assemblies

  • Project Coordination (task tracking, minute preparation, schedule updates)

  • Backup for Shipping/Receiving

  • Equipment troubleshooting and testing

  • Participation in customer service and technical issue resolution

  • Hands on assembly and testing of piping and instrumentation

Requirements:

  • Minimum two-year completion of a Mechanical, Materials, Electrical or Chemical Engineering program

  • Laboratory experience is desirable

  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude is required

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details is required

  • Ability to work to deadlines, sense of urgency

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • AutoCAD experience is an asset

  • Proficiency with MS Office applications

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

  • Pay Range: $23.00 - 25.00/HR
