Description:

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Machine Operators load and run various machines within their designated area. Operators may be asked move to between multiple areas on the manufacturing floor, to assist as needed.


PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Run inertia welder: loading, and unloading parts, run the welding cycle

· Demold: removing flash, trimming parts and cleaning molds

· Run grinder: load and unload parts, run the grinding cycle

· Deburr, straighten, and clean parts

· Wash and inspect parts for defects

· Pack parts to prepare for shipping

· Measure parts for critical dimensions, using calipers, tape measure, indicator etc

· Alert supervisor of quality defects

· Follow process instructions and quality plan

· Keep area clean and clear of debris

· Follow all safety guidelines

· Hit target production rate

· Login into PDE and record daily production output

· Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Attention to detail

· Able to work in teams or independently


Physical Requirements

· Must be able to lift and move up to 40lbs

· Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time

· Must be able to bend, crouch and crawl, as needed

· Comply with all PPE and safety regulations/policies

Education/ Experience

· High School diploma/GED

· Some manufacturing experience preferred


Other:

· Hourly (non-exempt) position, eligible for overtime

· Must be able to work weekends, as needed
