Job description

Position Summary: 

The Quality Control associate is responsible for overseeing the Quality of all Finished Cap Embroidery for all shifts.  This is done through effective monitoring of all the finished caps.

Essential Functions:  

  • Inspect flat & 3D embroidery orders, checking for any mistakes that could have been made that do not match the customer’s paper work. Such as; Styles, colors, quantities, design, design colors, and any specific notes that may need to be shown.
  • Working closely with embroidery machine operators as well as embroidery supervisors to identify any issues that may occur.
  • Using a heat gun to shrink foam
  • Picking or pulling out any additional foam pieces within the design.
  • Carefully trim loose threads.
  • Using a marker/pen to fix any minor mistakes.
  • Making sure all garments are clean and neat before packaging.
  • Counting, sorting, and packaging finished garments and completing the orders to take to shipping.
  • Discard or reject garments.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

 

  • Must have a positive work attitude and etiquette.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and quality minded.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as with a team.
  • Must have excellent organization skills and the ability to multi task.
  • Some sitting, standing, walking, lifting (over 75 lbs.), bending, twisting, reaching, stretching, pushing, and pulling required.
