JOB DESCRIPTION: Dish Machine Operator
Summary:
An outstanding guest experience depends on teamwork. A Dish Machine Operator helps by providing a supply of clean dishware, glassware, flatware and kitchen utensils to ensure timely and proper service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Sort, scrape, rinse, wash dishware, flatware and kitchen cooking utensils in a timely manner
  • Maintain stock of clean dishes and flatware for dining room and cook's line
  • Wash, rinse and sanitize pots and pans
  • Dispose of trash into outside dumpster and clean trash cans
  • Maintain a safe and clean working area
  • Assist management with receiving and storing food and supplies
  • Assist with maintaining exterior building including cleaning sidewalks, parking lots and landscaping as assigned
  • Maintain restroom cleanliness as assigned
  • Complete opening and/or closing duties
  • Back up Cook functions as requested
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to follow directions, operate dish machine safely, work in a fast paced, customer responsive environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with associates and management
  • Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
  • Minimum lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 50 pounds
  • Pushing, bending, stooping, walking, upward reaching, manual dexterity, seeing, hearing, writing, verbal communication
