Job description

About the Role:3rd shift

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Maintenance Chief to oversee the maintenance operations of our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and machinery are functioning efficiently and effectively, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. As the Maintenance Chief, you will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. You will also be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance management in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and best practices
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Electrical and PCM
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Experience with predictive maintenance techniques

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance operations under guidance of the Maintenance Chief of our manufacturing facility
  • Assist in managing a team of maintenance technicians
  • Assist in development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Ensure that all equipment and machinery are functioning efficiently and effectively
  • Minimize downtime and maximize productivity

Skills:

As the Assistant Maintenance Chief, you will need to have strong leadership and management skills to effectively manage a team of maintenance technicians. You will also need to have a strong understanding of maintenance procedures and best practices, as well as the ability to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures. In addition, you will need to have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Finally, you will need to have strong communication skills to effectively communicate with other departments and stakeholders.
