Job Purpose:

We are seeking a results-oriented National E-Commerce Account Manager to lead and grow strategic relationships across major online retail and omnichannel accounts. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, and operational execution across key national retailers and marketplaces.

The Account Manager will serve as the primary business contact for assigned accounts, developing joint business plans, leveraging retailer insights and analytics tools, and executing initiatives that accelerate sales and strengthen category presence. This role will also help shape future omnichannel and in-store growth opportunities through data-driven assortment, pricing, promotional, and merchandising strategies.

Account Strategy & Ownership

  • Build and execute annual and seasonal account strategies aligned with retailer growth priorities and category objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for merchant, marketing, and merchandising teams across assigned accounts.
  • Support the development of omnichannel growth strategies using digital insights to inform assortment, pricing, promotional, and inventory decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to expand distribution, improve category positioning, and drive long-term account growth.

Performance Management

  • Track weekly performance against sales, traffic, conversion, profitability, and operational KPIs.
  • Analyze digital performance trends to identify growth opportunities and optimize business performance.
  • Conduct testing and experimentation to improve merchandising, promotional effectiveness, and conversion.
  • Monitor competitive positioning, pricing trends, and category dynamics across the digital shelf.

Content & Merchandising Excellence

  • Partner with internal teams to deliver high-impact, retailer-compliant digital content and merchandising assets.
  • Conduct digital shelf audits to identify opportunities related to content quality, discoverability, assortment, and conversion.
  • Support new product launches with scalable content, imagery, and data foundations that can extend across channels.
  • Ensure ongoing optimization of product pages, enhanced content, reviews, and search visibility.

Inventory, Fulfillment & Operations

  • Partner with supply chain teams to maintain in-stock performance, forecast demand, and mitigate aged inventory risk.
  • Proactively resolve shortages, compliance issues, fulfillment challenges, and operational deductions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Product Development, and Supply Chain to align inventory, promotional, and operational strategies.
  • Support operational readiness for promotional events, seasonal programs, and new product launches.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Deliver weekly and monthly business reporting with insights into sales drivers, margin performance, and category trends.
  • Develop account scorecards, business reviews, and action plans for assigned customers.
  • Translate performance data into actionable recommendations for leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Utilize retailer portals, reporting tools, and analytics platforms to monitor and improve performance.
Requirements:

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of E-Commerce or omnichannel account management experience.
  • Experience managing major national retail, E-Commerce or omnichannel accounts preferred.
  • Proven ability to grow and scale strategic retail partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, high-volume accounts and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience supporting omnichannel growth strategies, digital merchandising, or marketplace expansion initiatives is preferred.

Tools & Platforms

  • Experience working within retailer portals, analytics tools, vendor platforms, and reporting systems.
  • Familiarity with digital merchandising, marketplace management, and retail analytics tools preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills utilizing BI dashboards, reporting tools, and web analytics platforms.
  • Net Suite, Salsify, and Stackline experience preferred.
