HiFyve is hiring a Field Technician in the heavy equipment construction repair industry in De Pere, WI!


Employment Type: Regular, Full-Time

Shift: Day shift

Location: Field-based out of De Pere, WI (on-site / customer locations)

Rate of Pay: $33 - $37/hour


Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and recondition construction, municipal, and highway-related heavy equipment

• Perform large diesel engine, hydraulic, and electrical system repairs and servicing

• Provide field service support while maintaining strong relationships with customers

• Research issues and recommend repair solutions, improvements, or product upgrades

• Maintain high-quality service by following established service and safety standards

• Attend factory and technical training to stay current on equipment and systems

• Represent the company professionally at all times, including appearance, conduct, and operation of company vehicles

• Communicate findings, repair status, and recommendations clearly with customers and internal teams

• Accurately document repairs, service work, and related results

• Contribute to team goals and assist with related tasks as needed


Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required

• Trade school degree or equivalent hands-on industry experience strongly preferred


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Minimum 2+ years of full-time heavy equipment repair experience

• Experience troubleshooting construction, municipal, or highway equipment

• Strong diagnostic skills in diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required

• CDL preferred but not required

• Must own a respectable set of hand tools

• Ability to pass a pre-employment mechanical aptitude test

• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and varying weather conditions
