Delivery Manager

Turgon AI

Job description

You're probably hearing how AI is going to change the world everywhere you look. However, despite the exponential improvements in capability, AI doesn't work well without the right context; garbage in, garbage out, as they say.
Unfortunately for the vast majority of companies in the world, that data lives in countless silos, resulting in AI projects that just don't work that well. Turgon is building the engine that connects those silos, to fix that and unlock the true potential of AI.
If you want to work on problems that actually matter at the frontier of unlocking *actual* enterprise value with AI, please read on...
About the Role
Delivery is our moat. We're not just running projects - we're building a repeatable, AI-native model for enterprise transformation.
You'll own a meaningful P&L across a portfolio of Turgon's largest accounts, scoping and running complex migration engagements while growing those accounts over time. You'll decide what AI agents handle, what humans own, and how it all fits together - then deliver results faster than clients think is possible.
This is hire #2 on the delivery team. Almost everything here is uncharted territory. The work is hard, the impact is real, and when we succeed, you'll know it couldn't have happened without you.
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation (cash and equity)
  • Direct exposure to co-founders and a hand in shaping company strategy
  • The chance to define how AI gets implemented in the world's largest companies
  • Strong benefits (medical, vision, dental, vacation, etc.)
Interview Process
Four steps, roughly two weeks end to end:
  • 30 min screen with the hiring manager
  • Take-home (1-2 hrs) + 30 min presentation - involves creating documents with AI
  • 30-45 min culture-fit conversation with a sales lead
  • 60 min sample case study
  • 60 min with the founders, followed by offer and reference check
Responsibilities
  • Own Client Delivery: You own the relationship with the client's program lead and steering committee - managing status, risks, and blockers. When a workstream falls behind, you diagnose and fix it, not just escalate.
  • Bridge Every Function: You earn the trust of engineering, product, sales, and the client at once - translating what the client needs into what the team builds, and turning that work into crisp, client-ready output at every step.
  • Build the Methodology: After every engagement, you codify what worked into reusable templates and frameworks. You're building the product, not just running projects.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience, likely in a high-growth B2B startup, management consulting (MBB, Big 4, or strong boutique), or a founding role.
  • Executive Presence: You're comfortable running steering committees, navigating procurement, and translating between technical teams and senior leadership.
  • Business Instinct: You understand the why behind the why and proactively spot new opportunities - not just execute clear marching orders.
  • Structured Thinking Under Ambiguity: When a client says "migrate 100+ systems," you start decomposing workstreams and dependencies before anyone hands you a playbook - because there usually isn't one.
  • Genuine AI Fluency: You don't need to build our agents, but you understand what they can and can't do - and can communicate that credibly to audiences ranging from execs to SMEs.
  • Bias Toward Speed: You make judgment calls with incomplete information and tell clients what you're doing and why, rather than waiting for alignment across a dozen stakeholders.
  • Comfortable Context-Switching: We work across ERP migrations, data platform modernizations, GIS upgrades, and more. No one person is an expert in all of it, and you'll need to learn new fields fast rather than specialize in one.
  • Builder Mindset: You get energy from writing the process while running it - building the car while driving, with minimal hand-holding along the way.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Delivery experience at a high-growth B2B startup (Palantir, Databricks, Snowflake, Celonis, or similar).
  • Management consulting background (MBB, Big 4, or strong boutique) who left to build and deliver, not just advise.
  • Former founder or early operator at a startup.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML workflows or agentic systems, even at a conceptual level.

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.
