Job description

Delivery Excellence ManagerNashville, TNOur drivers are the face of Clark's. You're the coach behind the team.

Great drivers don't happen by accident.

They're recruited.

They're coached.

They're supported.

They're held accountable.

And behind every elite delivery team is a leader who refuses to let them fail.

At Clark's White Glove Delivery, we're looking for that leader.

Our Nashville operation is the largest and busiest location in our company, delivering premium furniture throughout the region with a reputation built on professionalism, communication, and exceptional customer service. The Delivery Excellence Manager is one of the most important leadership positions in the operation.

If our drivers are the best in the industry, it's because this person is doing their job.

What You'll Own

You'll be the first call when something goes wrong-and the reason most problems get solved before the customer even notices.

You'll oversee our delivery teams from load-out to the final stop of the day, keeping trucks moving, supporting drivers in the field, and ensuring every delivery reflects the Clark's standard of excellence.

No two days are ever the same.

One morning you may be leading load-out and making sure every truck leaves accurately and on time.

By lunch, you'll be coaching a crew through a challenging in-home delivery.

That afternoon, you could be running a large designer installation, solving an issue on the road, recruiting your next all-star delivery team, or jumping in to help complete a difficult project.

This is a leadership position for someone who thrives under pressure, loves solving problems in real time, and enjoys building winning teams.

What You'll Do
  • Lead daily truck load-out and ensure every route starts successfully.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers throughout the day.

  • Solve delivery issues quickly while keeping customers and schedules on track.

  • Recruit, interview, and onboard high-quality delivery teams.

  • Coach drivers on customer service, professionalism, installation techniques, and efficiency.

  • Assist with complex deliveries and large white glove installation projects.

  • Work closely with warehouse and office leadership to keep the entire operation running smoothly.

  • Maintain Clark's high standards for safety, communication, and customer satisfaction.

  • Build a delivery team that customers request by name.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous home delivery experience is required.

  • Experience leading delivery crews, dispatch operations, or transportation teams.

  • High energy with a strong sense of urgency.

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills under pressure.

  • A natural leader who earns respect through action.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Willingness to lead from the front-not behind a desk.

  • Passion for coaching people and helping others succeed.

  • Someone who takes ownership, embraces accountability, and sets the standard for everyone around them.

Why Clark's?

At Clark's White Glove Delivery, we don't believe great customer experiences happen by chance.

They happen because exceptional people create them.

As our Delivery Excellence Manager, you'll have the opportunity to shape the culture of our delivery teams, mentor future leaders, and directly impact the experience our customers receive every single day.

If you're passionate about home delivery, thrive in fast-paced operations, and want to help build the best delivery teams in the industry, we'd love to meet you.

Because when our drivers succeed, our customers remember the Clark's experience-and you'll be the reason why.
