POSITIONSUMMARY:
Reporting to the Head Coach, this position has the responsibility for assisting the head coach with all aspects of a Division I Lacrosse program. This is a full-time, 12-month position.
DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coach, develop, and implement playerand team development through practice and conditioning activities.
Organizesand conducts practices and games.
Providesacademic counseling and monitoring of Student-Athlete progress.
Assistswith scheduling, team travel, and equipment.
Recruitsquality student-athletes.
Completes otherduties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution.
Complete knowledge of and ability to comply with all NCAA and Atlantic 10 Conference rules and regulations.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to be flexible with work schedule.
Proficiency in the use of computers and knowledge of MS office Suite.
Preferredqualifications:
A candidate with defensive and goalkeeping coaching experience.
Alternatively,the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination of experienceand training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required toperform the essential job functions. This includes, but is not limited to, thefollowing:
