Now Hiring Multiple Full-Time Assistant Teachers!

The Learning Experience of Astoria is seeking caring, energetic, and dependable Assistant Teachers to join our team. We currently have multiple full-time openings across several age groups, including Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an early childhood education setting (required)
  • Experience in a licensed daycare, childcare center, preschool, or early learning program
  • Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices
  • Reliable, nurturing, and professional demeanor
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

  • Support the Lead Teacher in implementing daily classroom activities and curriculum
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
  • Assist with supervising children during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and transitions
