Project Coordinator - JLL

What this job involves:

The Project Coordinator provides day-to-day project coordination and administrative support for multiple facilities, construction, or infrastructure projects. This role works closely with Project Managers, clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support planning, execution, documentation, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

This position is ideal for an early-career project professional with foundational project experience who is ready to take on increased responsibility and grow toward a Project Manager role.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Support Project Managers in executing projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Coordinate project schedules, task tracking, and milestone updates.
  • Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare project documentation, reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Schedule and coordinate project meetings; prepare agendas and capture meeting minutes.
  • Support communication between internal teams, clients, consultants, and vendors.
  • Track risks, issues, and action items and follow up as needed.
  • Assist with procurement activities, vendor documentation, and contract administration.
  • Maintain organized and accurate project files and records.
  • Support site visits, audits, and quality or safety reviews as required.
  • Apply project management tools, systems, and best practices consistently.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, administration, Engineering, Business, or a related field OR equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, project support, or related role.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong follow-through.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting construction, administration environment, facilities, or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira).
  • Knowledge of basic budgeting, scheduling, or procurement processes.
  • CAPM certification or active pursuit of project management credentials.
  • Exposure to data centers critical infrastructure, or corporate facilities environments.
  • Interest in sustainability or energy-efficient building practices.
