Job Description:
Student Processors in the admissions processing department assist with data entry, forms, and documents for prospective and incoming students. They act as quality control to review student records & process outbound mail that creates an excellent experience for our incoming students.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Data entry using our CRM system (Salesforce) Student workers must daily enter in all application pieces. It is important to make sure it is done on time, organized, and every step is done correctly.
  • Filing and organizational tasks
  • Copying, printing, and scanning documents
  • "Front desk office coverage" including answering and directing admissions calls
  • Event assistance including parking and event preparation
  • Filing: Student workers are responsible for all filing and should be done daily and neatly.
  • Tracker Actions: Student workers are required to do the daily trackers that they are assigned.
  • Registration Packets: These are done at certain times of the year and sent to the Accepted students for the following semester.
  • Visit Folders: Assigned by CVC as needed.
  • Card Entry: These are the info cards that students fill out during different traveling events that take place throughout the year.
  • Transcript retrieval and processing
  • Student workers will double check paper files with the students Salesforce file to ensure they are accepted/denied and have the correct scholarship.
  • Investigating Application and Files: When errors occur, student workers are required to investigate the problem and find a solution.
  • Uploading Online Applications and Recommendation
  • Building & mailing incoming student acceptance letters & acceptance boxes

Required Qualifications/Skills:
  • Currently enrolled student at NCU
  • Data entry or office experience preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Detail-oriented, self-motived learner
  • Ability to work at a computer for multiple hours at a time

Additional Comments:
Hiring Timeline: Applications are accepted at any time. Students are typically hired at the end of the spring semester for the following school year or at the beginning of the fall semester.
Hours/Week: 5-20
Time of Hours: Between 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
