Job Description Summary

This position is 4 days a week, 80% time. The Research Assistant will assist with CPMRA projects such as assisting with data cleaning, entry, and analysis; assisting in the preparation of reports; the planning and execution of CPMRA projects; and new grant proposals.

Job Description

Duties:

  • Assists the Center's Director, Coordinator, and associated faculty with project planning and execution, data entry/cleaning/analysis. Prepare literature reviews; review legislation as appropriate; review and summarize documents from townships, cities, and counties.
  • Create visualizations from the survey data; prepare summaries; draft reports with the help of CPMPA faculty.
  • Actively participate and assist in executing projects and reports, and in soliciting new projects.
  • Help present reports to our local partners and at the Ohio Township Association convention in Columbus.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, experience working on applied projects for CPMRA.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with basic statistics for social science, Canva, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, all required.
  • Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
