Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Folder Gluer Operator to join our manufacturing team at our Peachtree City facility. In this role, you will operate and maintain sophisticated folder/gluer machinery to produce high-quality printed packaging materials for the food packaging industry. This is a critical position that directly impacts our ability to meet customer specifications and quality standards. You will work onsite in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, managing equipment operations, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and overseeing quality assurance. Must-Haves
  • Minimum of 3 years of Folder/Gluer equipment operation experience within the food packaging industry, including setup, troubleshooting, and equipment adjustment
  • Demonstrated capability of running straight line, auto-bottom, 4 and 6 corner cartons
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to work onsite, rotate shifts, and work beyond standard 8-hour days and 40-hour weeks as needed to meet customer demands
  • Commitment to safety compliance and adherence to OHSE (Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment) policies
Primary Functions

Equipment Operation & Adjustment:

  • Operate and adjust folder/gluer machines to develop end-result printed packaging materials in accordance with customer specifications
  • Perform setup and make-ready tasks utilizing quick and easy settings for high productivity and precision operations
  • Monitor machine operation and troubleshoot mechanical issues in real-time
  • Make adjustments and clear jams while maintaining product speed and quality
  • Maintain steady and precise feeding at all speeds by controlling feeding, take-over, and inverting of batches of blanks

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure quality of all completed jobs by reviewing for accuracy and completeness
  • Verify that finished products exceed customer expectations
  • Complete all required quality checklists and documentation
  • Support and communicate ISO standards and quality objectives to the team
  • Resolve any defects and make necessary adjustments to produce high-quality product

Safety & Housekeeping:

  • Maintain complete adherence and compliance with OHSE and Clean policies
  • Follow all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) procedures at all times
  • Handle and dispose of hazardous materials and waste according to established guidelines
  • Maintain proper uniform and appearance per company policy
  • Use company-provided safety lifting equipment for all material handling
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following all safety rules and regulations
  • Assist team members in maintaining a safe working environment

  • Oversee general technicians working on equipment
