Fox TV Stations
FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for news, branding, and digital media? FOX Television Stations Los Angeles (KTTV/FOX 11 & KCOP/FOX 11 Plus) is seeking a motivated, curious, and collaborative Creative Services & News Intern for Summer 2026.
This unique, hands-on internship offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of news and creative marketing. Reporting to the VP, Creative Services, you'll collaborate with both the Creative Services team and the Newsroom, contributing to content that informs, engages, and grows our audience across broadcast, streaming, and digital platforms.
You'll be part of the team helping bring stories and campaigns to life in one of the most dynamic media markets in the country.
Key Responsibilities
Creative & Brand Support
  • Assist the Creative Services team with the development of promotional campaigns, station branding, and marketing materials.
  • Support writing, producing, and editing promotional spots for news, streaming, and special programming.
  • Participate in brainstorms and contribute creative ideas for on-air and digital campaigns.

Newsroom Collaboration
  • Assist with daily editorial operations including story research, logging, and content organization.
  • Work with producers and reporters to support story development and production needs.
  • Gain exposure to newsroom workflows across broadcast, streaming, and digital.

Content Creation
  • Help create and edit content for on-air, social, and digital platforms.
  • Support video editing and basic production tasks, as needed.

Digital & Social Media
  • Monitor trending topics and assist with social media content and strategy.
  • Contribute to digital storytelling efforts that extend newsroom and promotional content.

Collaborative Execution
  • Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Work cross-functionally and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Current enrollment in an accredited college or university (Junior or Senior preferred).
  • Majoring in Journalism, Communications, Media, Marketing, Film/TV, or related field.
  • Strong passion for news, storytelling, marketing, and digital media.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Creative thinker, proactive learner, and strong collaborator.
  • Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
