Purpose:

To lead and direct the overall operation of the Community inaccordance with the Sinceri Senior Living Mission Statement, Meaningful MomentsProgramming, residents’ needs, government regulations, and all other Communitypolicies and procedures. Maintain excellent service quality, high occupancy,and meet financial goals within the established budgetary guidelines

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
  • Genuine concern for and ability towork with the elderly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related fieldpreferred.
  • Must be licensed in good standingif required by the State Licensing Authority.
  • Must be able to communicateeffectively with Residents, families, staff, community officials, referralsources, and the general public.
  • Must meet all State healthrequirements.
  • Must be able to perform duties andresponsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonableaccommodation.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Experience with financialreporting and managing multiple budgets.
Essential Functions:

Leadershipand Professional Conduct

  • Isa positive representative of Sinceri Senior Living and sets a strongexample of professional conduct and appearance for employees andmanagement staff.

CommunityManagement

  • Workwith the Community management staff and corporate staff in planning allaspects of Community operations, including setting priorities and jobassignments.
  • Monitoreach department, and communicate and interpret policies.
  • Responsiblefor cleanliness and maintenance of the Community and grounds.
  • Ensurethe safety of Residents, their visitors, and staff regarding InfectionControl, Fire, and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Conductroutine inspections of services being provided to ensure the highestquality.
  • Maintaincurrent knowledge of OSHA and State Regulations and routinely monitorCommunity compliance.
  • Ensureunderstanding and compliance with all regulations regarding Residents’rights.
  • OperateCommunity within the established budget.
  • Routinelymonitor labor costs, raw food costs, accounts receivable, accountspayable, and payroll functions.
  • Completereports and submit them timely to Sinceri Senior Living office.
  • Maximizerevenue through census development and Resident mix.

Program Development andImplementation

  • Implement and maintain allemployee and Resident programs in accordance with Community policies andSinceri Senior Living’s Program Standards.
  • Ensure programming is effectivelymanaged and marketed.

Staffing and Retention

  • Oversee hiring of all newcandidates for employment including the interview and orientation process.
  • Evaluate performance, providefeedback, assist, coach, and discipline staff as necessary.
  • Monitor employee morale, providementorship and a supportive team environment, and encourage theprofessional growth of all employees through orientation, training, andongoing education.
  • Ensure compliance with employmentlaws and Community policies.
  • Manage turnover and maintain anetwork of recruitment sources.

Marketing and Census Development

  • Effectively market the Communityto reach and maintain budgeted occupancy.
  • Evaluate and understand markettrends and competitors’ strengths and weaknesses and successfully positionthe Community in the marketplace.
  • Develop an annual business planand quarterly internal and external marketing plans.
  • Ensure optimum/maximum occupancy,revenue, and profitability for the Community.
  • Create a culture that emphasizescustomer service and relationship building.
  • Effectively perform all phases ofthe internal sales process: inquiry calls, pre-tour, tour, and post-tour(closing).
  • Effectively perform all phases ofthe external relationship: building/partnering with referral sources.

Community Relations

  • Develop and maintain positiverelationships with State regulators, the community at large, families,Residents, ombudsmen, and other professionals on behalf of the CommunityandSinceri Senior Living.
