Job description

General Summary

Assists with various marketing responsibilities for Nex-Tech and Creative Clients.

Essential Job Functions

  • Proofreads advertising copy, Internet based content, and other media publications. Uses standard proofreading symbols and abbreviations to notate spelling, typographical, and grammatical errors. Proofreads various marketing materials, such as brochures, newsletters, etc., as assigned in Basecamp.
  • Research, create, and post on Facebook for Nex-Tech and Marketing customers.
  • Assist with various Nex-Tech and Marketing client needs including, but not limited to, copywriting, social media management, ordering, assembling, and distribution of marketing materials, invoice coding, campaign planning, and placement.
  • Undertaking of daily administrative tasks that ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities including, but not limited to, mailing projects, community relations, deliveries, research, and presentation preparation.
  • Assist with the setup, facilitation, and completion of marketing events throughout the service territory both during work hours and after hours.
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management. Engages in regular and periodic reviews with supervisor. Accepts direction with a positive attitude.

Education and Experience

Associate degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or the equivalent, plus two years’ experience in a related field.
