OVERVIEW: The Bag Room Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring barrier shrink bag production equipment to ensure the safe and efficient manufacture of high-quality packaging products. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor bag-making machinery to produce products that meet customer specifications.
  • Perform quality inspections and document results according to company standards.
  • Label, weigh, package, and prepare finished products for shipment.
  • Maintain accurate production records and complete required system transactions.
  • Monitor machine performance and report equipment issues to supervision.
  • Assist with machine adjustments, setup, and minor troubleshooting.
  • Ensure raw materials are available and properly loaded into equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality requirements.
  • Work effectively with team members to meet production goals.
