Job description

Position Title: 

Entry Manufacturing Laborer - 1st Shift

Pay Rate

$20.40/hr +

Sign on Bonus:       

$500 after 30 days, 

$500 after 6 months, 

Retention Bonus:   

$500 after 1 year

Additional lump sum after 2 years

The Job You Will Perform: 

  • Check for count accuracy and conformance to specification

  • Double check for quality issues, communicating them to control room operator or wet end operator

  • Measure finished sheet for accuracy

  • Insert Proper load tags into finished "measured" units

  • Check unit for appearance

  • Operate count station and load tag printer

  • Restack non-conforming units

  • Hand-flip bundles when warped, or otherwise required]

  • Properly document non-conforming materials onto disposition sheet

  • Determine whether order is complete or partial

  • Operator must wear all required personal protective equipment

  • Operator must be proficient in using/reading tape measure and safe use of utility knife

  • Operator must keep work areas clean and free of debris, including keeping floor clean of sheets

  • Operator must be able to safely lift/move up to 50lbs during regular work shift

  • Operator must follow lock-out/ tag-out procedures

  • Prepare and set in place the "Top" dunnage for unit strapping

  • Counting and stacking finished product

  • Reading orders
