Rotating Schedule-
  1. 6:00am-2:00pm Wednesday to Tuesday (Wednesday off before second shift)
  2. 2:00pm-10:00pm Thursday to Wednesday (Thursday off before third shift)
  3. 10:00pm-6:00am Friday to Thursday (Friday through Tuesday off before going back to first shift)

A Taste of What You'll Do
Under the direction of the Four Roses Distillery Supervisor, you will play a key role in operating advanced control systems and connected equipment that power the distillation and cooking processes. In this role, you'll help ensure smooth, efficient production across rotating and day shifts, balancing hands-on equipment operation with careful monitoring and data entry to maintain quality and consistency.
You'll actively manage production processes from grain handling and milling through mashing, cooking, fermentation preparation, and distillation, while helping maintain the tank farm and related systems. Your work will include sampling, performing analytical tests, and ensuring all processes meet established standards. You'll also complete routine inspections, support preventive maintenance, and help troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and keep operations running at peak performance.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment is essential in this role. You'll perform sanitation and cleanup activities using proper materials and procedures, contribute to a strong food safety culture, and follow all EPA, OSHA, and company safety guidelines. Collaboration is key, as you'll interact with team members, maintenance, and leadership to coordinate activities and respond effectively to production needs.
Additionally, you'll support day-shift operations with Grain Unloader duties as needed, based on seniority. Success in this role comes from taking initiative, demonstrating accountability, and embracing continuous improvement in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
What You'll Need
  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate
  • Required to be 21 years of age or older.
  • Basic mechanical skills.
  • Basic computer data entry skills.
  • Candidate is required to have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver's license based on the position's location within 30 days of hire.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate all levels of team members, staff, vendors, and visitors.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining flexibility, as necessary.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Ability to adjust work schedule and work overtime, as required, to maintain an efficient operation and meet weekly and daily work schedules.
  • Must promote and participate in a teamwork approach regarding union, non-union, and management collaboration.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and conditions.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
