Construction Laborer

Job Overview

We are currently seeking motivated and dependable Construction Laborers to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist with a variety of construction projects by supporting skilled tradespeople, maintaining safe job sites, and helping ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are looking to build a long-term career in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist construction crews, skilled tradespeople, and site supervisors with daily job site operations
  • Prepare and maintain construction sites by removing debris and ensuring work areas remain safe and organized
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment
  • Operate basic hand and power tools such as drills, saws, hammers, and compact machinery
  • Assist with placing and finishing concrete
  • Build and dismantle temporary structures including scaffolding, barriers, and forms
  • Support site setup and general labor activities as needed
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
  • Perform routine site cleanup throughout and after project completion
  • Complete additional tasks assigned by the foreman or superintendent

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license or state-issued ID required
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous construction or general labor experience is a plus, but not required
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials, and safety practices preferred
