Job Overview:

Pay Range: $44.70hr - $49.70hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Electrical, Computer Science, or related field) from an accredited university.
  • Safety & Quality Mindset: Strong foundational focus on safety, quality, execution, and process rigor.
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage repair qualifications for the service center, ensuring compliance and quality control.
  • Analyze and resolve Repair Non-Conformance Notifications (NCNs) in a timely and high quality manner.
  • Daily support for the service center’s ‘Built in Quality’ (BIQ) initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Supply Chain, and Advanced Manufacturing and Repair Technology.
  • Recommend updates to repair engineering instruction (REI) requirements for gas turbine components.
  • Engage in Kaizen initiatives to enhance efficiency and assist in maintaining and updating engineering processes.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations to address quality and process issues.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience or relevant project-based learning in gas turbine design, repair, manufacturing, or services.
  • Academic or Internship Background: Coursework or internships supporting gas turbine design, repair, manufacturing, or services.
  • Academic or hands-on experience in process development areas such as fixture development, machining (mills/EDMs), laser applications (cladding/ablation), joining/brazing, coating, or inspection technologies.
  • Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings.
  • Open-minded, self-motivated, and empowered to challenge thinking to dream big and take smart risks.
  • Demonstrated capability in collaborating within a team and customers to create an inclusive environment.
  • Possess a continuous improvement (Lean) mindset.
