Assistant or Associate Professor of Political Science
Job Description
The successful candidate will teach introductory and advanced courses in American politics and government, constitutional and public law, and judicial politics to political science and prelaw undergraduate students. Responsibilities will include serving as the prelaw advisor to students interested in applying to law school. The successful candidate will also demonstrate active interest in mentoring and inspiring students who are traditionally underrepresented in the field of law and legal careers.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have a terminal degree in social sciences disciplines including but not limited to Political Science, public administration and public policy. The ABD status with evidence that degree will be completed before the beginning of the Fall 2024 semester will be considered.
